The purposes of SNHS is:
1. To honor students for their achievement in the study of Spanish.
2. To encourage students to continue their studies of the Spanish language and culture.
3. To provide students opportunities to use their abilities to serve the community and school.
Requisites to become and stay a member of CRHS SNHS
Requisites to maintain membership in CRHS SNHS
Students must have six points each year:
A minimum of 2 from service hours
A minimum of 1 from fundraising
A minimum of 1 culture / miscellaneous
1. To honor students for their achievement in the study of Spanish.
2. To encourage students to continue their studies of the Spanish language and culture.
3. To provide students opportunities to use their abilities to serve the community and school.
Requisites to become and stay a member of CRHS SNHS
- A regularly enrolled student of a secondary school (grades 9-12) who has maintained an honor average(90) in the study of Spanish for at least three semesters is eligible for membership in the Society
- The student must be enrolled in the study of the language at the time of initiation.
- If a member does not continue the study of Spanish or Portuguese, the student may remain in the Society as an Associate Member until graduation at the discretion of the Chapter Sponsor.
Requisites to maintain membership in CRHS SNHS
- Members must keep his/her good standing and good conduct while in SNHS
- A member may be removed from the Chapter at the discretion of the Chapter Sponsor for failure to maintain an honor average, misconduct or insubordination or other serious infraction.
- Members must attend all meetings (or attend the make up meeting)
- Member must have a total of six points each year as described below.
